We are proud to announce that snowboarder Kareem El Rafie just joined the CLWR Family. Kareem is a badass rail shredder and backcountry booter machine that has been delivering banger film parts for as long as we can remember. He is not only a hard shredder, but also great a entrepreneur with lots of good ideas. Given this full package and adding the fact that he is an old friend of us, he was a natural match for the CLWR family.

Kareem visited the office earlier this summer so we popped a couple of questions to him...Kareem El Rafie at the Colour Wear office. Nice to have you here at the Colour Wear office. First of all, welcome to the CLWR family! Thanks it is great to be a part of the family and also to see the new office, it looks great!How are you doing? I am all good man! Just back from Whistler Canada and ready for some Swedish summer.Why were you so late this morning? Cause once again I have been harassed by retarded Swedish cops. I had a good four hour detour at the cop station in Borås being accused for some bullshit cause they don't feel my swag. It is the story of my life…Yeah we got a bit worried when you did not show up at 24.00 and we couldn't get hold of you until 5 in the morning. Laugh! So what have you been up to lately? I have been boarding a bunch and I just got back to Stockholm from the Never Never land of Whistler. It has been a fun winter except the time I lost after getting run over by a cab in end of January.Whistler backcountry

That was crazy that you didn’t hurt yourself more. Good work on the rehab getting back so quick! What are your plans for this summer?
I am gonna go to Cairo/ Egypt pretty soon for this falls upcoming FL Clothing Production. After that I might go for some summer boarding and hit the ocean for some surfing!

Why Colour Wear?
For several reasons. First of all I am really backing your concept, mindset and the approach to make dope looking street oriented and still technical featured outerwear. I like that the clothes are affordable and accessible for peeps so you can spend more of ya cash actually going boarding then buying expensive equipment. I’m stoked on everyone involved and believe in your vision and where you want to take the company. I’m also really hyped to be able to have input on the line and be able to influence on what I will wear.

Any new Frontline rail jam in October this year?
Yeah fo sho! The date is set for October 1. We are going bigger than ever with a brand new setup. Bigger price purse, retarded rides list and a full on live stream for everyone to join and watch live who can’t make it to Stockholm.

Sounds great, we will be there! Do you have any film and photo plans for this winter?
Wanna keep boarding with good homies at spots where I wanna be. Definitely get more backcountry, jumping and straight up soul boarding on film. Feels like I have so much more of my mindset and feel of boarding to show people than they have seen so far!
